Class Rules
Class Expectations
Instructional- When the coach/teacher is speaking, it
is very important that you are quiet, listening, and visually tracking the coach/teacher. - Game rules, safety precautions, and important strategies are given during instructional time; so it is very important we follow the rules listed above. - You are never allowed to speak or make noises when somebody is talking. Do not try to distract other students in any way. - If you have a question or comment, you will raise your hand quietly and wait to be called upon. - I will be looking for students that are following all directions and will pick them to help demonstrate the game rules to the rest of the class |
Sportsmanship- Having good sportsmanship is very
important while at P.E. - There will be times when you win, and there will also be times when you lose. You need to show good sportsmanship when both happen. - An example of good sportsmanship is saying, "Good job!" to the other team whether you win or lose. - An example of bad sportsmanship is making fun of the other player or team for losing, or calling them cheaters just because they won. - Having good sportsmanship means following all of the rules, playing a game fairly and correctly, and also have a positive attitude. |
Attitude- In P.E. having a good attitude is the key
to success. - We expect you to have a fantastic, positive attitude in everything you do. - This includes trying new exercises, games, sports and activities. - It does not matter if you are the best in an area, or have never tried an activity before. What I care about is whether or not you tried and gave it your best shot! - With an excited, fun, and positive attitude for P.E., we will have a fantastic year! |

Let Me Know What Is Going On
- If you get hurt, you have to tell me. Do not keep it to yourself. I am not able to help you if you do not tell me you are hurt.
- If a student is being mean to you, you need to come tell me. Do not do anything that will get you in trouble such as using physical
force or foul language.
- If you have any questions about class rules, game rules, or what you are currently supposed to be doing; make sure you ask. If I am
giving instruction to the class make sure you raise your hand. If we are playing the game you may come up to me at anytime.
